Durham, NC, October 20, 2022 – Thomas & Hutton (T&H), a Southeast-based professional consulting firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Coulter Jewell Thames, PA (CJT) of Durham to the ‘crew. With offices in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee, the addition of CJT by T&H increases its presence in the Raleigh-Durham area. The combination became effective September 30, 2022, and CJT’s Durham and Roxboro, North Carolina offices now join the Thomas & Hutton family. CJT Co-Founder and President Dan Jewell, RLA, ASLA, will assume his new role as T&H Principal and Raleigh-Durham Regional Director. Please join us in welcoming the entire CJT team to T&H.

He has served as the State Chapter President of the North Carolina Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects and serves on various boards including Durham Central Park, Durham Area Designers, Home Builders Associations of Durham Orange and Chatham counties.

Royster received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from North Carolina State University. With over 15 years of experience in project management and design from small single family residential projects to large scale developments, Royster’s expertise includes site design, water and water systems design wastewater and water resources, including green infrastructure and low impact development.

Williams earned her degree in Civil Engineering from Conestoga College, Ontario, Canada.
