MOUNT LAUREL — Capehart Scatchard announced that company shareholder Sanmathi (Sanu) Dev has been named to the Class of 2022 on NJBIZ’s Forty Under 40 list of New Jersey’s Top Young Business Leaders.
Each year, NJBIZ recognizes 40 businessmen and women under the age of 40 for their notable successes and displays of strong leadership in the state. An independent jury selects individuals for their outstanding contributions to New Jersey, both in their industry and in their community. A description of the methodology can be viewed here.
Dev and his fellow winners will be featured in an upcoming NJBIZ supplement and will be recognized at a virtual awards ceremony on September 21.
Dev focuses his practice on education law and labor and employment law. She has experience representing, advising and defending school boards in all areas of school law, including: labor and employment, special education, section 504, student discipline and civil rights. As part of these representations, she is an experienced litigator before state and federal courts, including the Office of Administrative Law. Dev is the chair of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, which seeks to facilitate the firm’s efforts to achieve and maintain a diverse and inclusive workplace at all levels of our organization. Dev is also the company’s hiring shareholder. She received her law degree from Rutgers Law School in Camden and her BA from Boston University.
